Oh it makes my day when your reactions come out!!!!!!! Love the introduction of Aberama Gold (Great name!!) that scene when Tommy says toss the coin is epic. Luca Changretta is somewhat stereotypical of a New York gangster and i think he had a lot of criticism for his portrayal being too cliched....... Steven Knight the writer always said that these stories and characters were seen through the eyes of a child (stories told to him as a child), so they were larger than life, mythologised and so it makes sense that the gangsters are all so beautifully presented and cliched..... i personally love his character and think he plays him well. The actor that played John decided to leave the show as he felt he could not develop the character anymore with it being "Tommy's show." Shame as i would love to see what would happen to John and Esme. Keeps us on our toes though. You are right Tommy keeps his feelings wrapped, that is what the war did to him, every now and again you get a nugget of info about the pre war Tommy and see how different he was but still very ambitious. Steven knight wrote "The ballad of Tommy Shelby" read by Cillian Murphy and it is a lovely insight to how Tommy's mind works. I've added the link as i think you would appreciate it.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsCs1nnlXM0&t=6s Can't wait for next episode
