What an episode!!!!!! Loving your full length reactions gotta to go back and watch all of them again. FYI - background info about the Russian storyline without any spoilers.... Real history storyline. The Russians were at war, The Whites (Royals) were defending themselves against the Reds (communists). Britain was keeping an eye on this as they didn't want the simmering communist movements to get any ideas about overthrowing the British crown and government. So they were sending tanks and weapons over to them to help the Whites defend themselves. Churchill was using Tommy as a go between to get the weapons and tanks from Britain to Russia with the help of the Economic league as The Government couldn't be seen to be helping. Tommy has no choice but to help, as Churchill saved his life and if he refuses they will all be hanged for one thing or another. The Duke his wife and Tatiana are all exiled Russians who have escaped the war and are working with Tommy, the economic league and the Government to help the other Royals in Russia. The Priest - your suspicions are correct about him, the set up of an open door policy at the orphanage Tommy is running as a charity allows the men of high society, MP's (members of Parliament, Government) and other dignitaries to pop in after hours for drinks and....... Tommy knows this and is suitably disgusted which why he says there is Hell, and a place below Hell, i will remember everything, and forget nothing. John was certainly jealous about Lizzie and reacted out of jealousy with these consequences.... he is the hot headed one for sure. Poor Arthur, it breaks my heart, you want him to get better and Linda is helping him, but he is loyal to his brother and family and wants to support them, it is a storyline of such emotion. Your observations are always spot on love your commentary and thoughts as you go along. Can't wait to see the next one with you.
