Random Gang Beasts Bullshittery - Update #3 (Patreon)

Good evening everyone, I hope you're having a lovely start to your week. So the third week of work on the latest bullshittery is progressing...though with some hiccups.

Insofar as targets are concerned, by this point in time I'm expected to have reached the 8th or 9th minute of editing the text and animations. What with average work speed of 50-60 seconds of footage a day (which is about 10-15 After Effects compositions, depending on complexity.)

Alas I'm afraid I've only reached 7 minutes and 30 seconds for a fairly embarrassing reason...on Friday I fell ill with some sort of gastrointestinal virus. Friday was a complete wash. And I've spent most of the weekend in bed with a fever. Try as I might today, it's been an endless relay race to and from the bathroom, so my efficiency has been limited. I'm trying to stay hydrated and I'm hoping it passes soon.

That being said, I was able to spend some time on the weekend properly cutting the second half of the video (it's a lot less strenuous than key-framing). So currently the timeline looks something like this.

So previous I'd predicted that the video would have a 20 minute runtime once I'd cut away the chaff. I was able to squeeze that down to 15 minutes. Don't worry though, that's not because jokes are being deleted, but is what inevitably happens when you trim the pauses and the "ums" and the "ahs" in order to keep the flow going. Most Youtube compilations don't really do that, but I've found it really helps keep a pace.

So now, the plan should be to reach the start of the 12th minute by the end of this week. Then with week 4, the final 3 minutes plus some quality assurance. But I expect it'll probably go into a 5th week because that's a lot to QA properly in 2 days. Plus...there's some camera stuff I'll talk about in the next update that I wanted to play with. The work continues!
