Apologies for the delayed update. I was supposed to do one at the end of last week.

So it's the 9th week of work (bloody hell) on the latest video. And it's so nearly complete. Frustratingly so. It's really just a handful of things left to do, but they're naturally the most complicated parts. Requiring art-assets/voice work that I cannot produce on my own. I plan to focus on trying to get these this week in order to try and have the video for you by the weekend. Thank you for being so patient with me and sorry its taking so damn long.

The full run-time is about 25 minutes, with about 23:40 seconds done and dusted. The remaining bits consist of mostly audio tweaking or an outro that I'm still trying to work out/

Do you remember me mentioning that intro sequence? The one with the spoof news reel from a fictional news organisation talking about the crisis on Altis?

Well I'm currently working on its ending equivalent, which shows the aftermath of the events in the video. A process that should only take a couple of days and I'm already quite far through with. Just need to tweak the script to make it sound convincing.

However, I've still had trouble finding a suitable specific voice actor (other Youtubers never seem to respond, its weird). Therefore what I might try is the following:

I'm going to try tweaking the the footage to make it look like four different news stations talking about the crisis. And then ask if there are any volunteers among you willing to give a line reading a shot? (don't worry if you've already volunteered in the last post, I'll go back). Basically putting on your best newsreader impression, sending me a recording of the spoken lines, which I can chop up and edit onto the already edited visuals.

Then what I can do is edit the footage to make it look like different journalists from different networks. Preferably three males and one female. Please bear with me here, let me get a final script and see how it looks. And then I'll make a fresh post tomorrow with the details for those wanting to try it out. Could be a laugh :)

As for right now, I'll continue trying to put the final pieces together as best as I can. For various QA renders each evening in order to spot all of the errors. Will try to get it done as soon as possible.
