Some development thumbnails for an upcoming finished piece I'll be doing in the future. The image is from a scene in my Equestria dreamscape. In the realm of dreams Applebloom revels in the thrill, excitement and limitlessness possibility that this realm can offer.

A dangerous way to think…..she will miss so much in the waken world if she is not careful. She needs to strike a balance. Hopefully Luna can guide her the right way.

The vibes from this *really* make me think of something I’ve seen somewhere before, maybe from a movie…but I can’t think what. Particularly the lower left thumbnail, the idea of some dark, foreboding figure gracefully dancing while the world burns behind them. Was this inspired by anything in particular? I really wish I could think what long-dormant memory this reminds me of.

It's from a particular dream. Without giving away any spoilers, one of Applebloom's talents has been the ability of her to create new dream fabrics on the fly that are not her own personal/original dream fabric. These have been useful for creating terrain to face opponents, or just for goofing around. This was her goofing around.
