Costume designs for a future anthro MLP genie commission. This time it'll be Twilight Sparkle. The rough sketches on the left were proposed ideas and the drawing was quick combination of the undercut opening top of Design #3 and the a modified version of the pantaloons of Design #2.

Really digging the sheer leggings here. Hard to really go wrong with see-through fabric after all. :D

I'm not sure if I've said this before but these rough sketch pages are delightful! Honestly, were I the commissioner, I'd probably add extra just to get these pieces as well. It reminds me so much of some warner brother statues back in the 90's that had a similar theme; sketches in the background with the finished character being the center piece. For me the creation process is just as entrancing as the actual finished product itself. Thank you for sharing pieces like this!

It's part of why I charge what I do for my work. The client gets the development art along with the finished piece. And this gives the client to actively be part of the creation process.

I've already sent the client pose thumbnails for the piece as well and a selection has been made for that as well. This is just how I trained to do this. So I just build it into the cost of my work. As far as sending it to them. It's a matter practicality. I already have hundreds of drawing lying around my studio. Shipping development just clears some stuff from my space.
