Sunset Shimmer watched as Squeezie slowly slithered around and up her body until the python could look her in the eyes. The unicorn smirked. 

      "Fluttershy wasn't kidding when she said you were really friendly snake. Especially to mares."

      Slowly the serpent gave the mare a hug. 

      Continuing the series of anthro MLP drawings involving Fluttershy's pet serpent Squeezie. The name Apep on Sunset's nightshirt is that of the Egyptian god Apep who is portrayed as a great serpent. Apep lies in wait to ambush Ra and his sun boat as Ra journeys every night through the underworld. Some sources say Apep just attempts to thwart Ra's journey through the underworld,  but other sources say that Apep attempts to devour the actual sun itself. 

    Apep also sounds like a name for some black/death metal band. Like the actual band Thoth.
