Versions of Long Seax (Patreon)

Further weapon studies. These are examples of a weapon often referred to as the Seax. They were very common in Germanic Europe from 5th century through to the 11th century AD. This weapon ranged in size from belt knife to short sword in length. The blade varied in design but a common feature is a single edge on longer length of the blade.
