"Trixie, are you sure it's good idea for me to wear this outfit?"

"Starlight.  The Great and Powerful Trixie is never wrong on matters like this!  Trust me you'll be invaluable part of the show in that outfit!"

 "Really? How?"

"As a distraction on stage while I prepare for some of my tricks!"

As kind of a birthday present to myself I spent yesterday and a bit  of today creating this anthro Starlight Glimmer piece. The pose and  outfit are from an earlier set of sketches I'd done.  The piece is done in my usual combination of colored pencil, marker  pen, technical pen, and white gouache. The working surface is 11" x 14"  vellum finish Strathmore 400 series Bristol Board.

Now I just need to find a home for her so I'll be putting her up in the SmudgeMarks & EngelWerks ESHOP tomorrow along with some other new art items. Art, comics, prints, and videos it's all there!

The real magic is wearing that outfit on stage. Trixie may regret this. She will no longer be the center of attention. “Yes Trixie great card trick. Now have Glimmer walk about on the stage again! That’s entertainment!”😍

Magic act? What magic act? :)

That moment you are thankful you didn't skimp on the squats on 'Leg Day'...

I'm sure Petina had a hand in this. Somehow.

I find Starlight's whole "I'm not sure I really belong on the good side" thing quite endearing. Though she does seem to be getting over it, and that's nice too.
