Royal Space Auxiliaries (Patreon)

Sent as part of rescue/relief force to the colony world of Harmony in the MLP/Aliens dream was a platoon of Royal Space Auxiliaries. 

      Underfunded, usually unappreciated, and often stuck doing the mundane, boring, and dirty business of protecting the border regions of Equestria's far-flung space holdings; the Royal Space Auxiliaries are an important part of Equestria's security network.

      Because they are underfunded and not intended to be front line combat troops, the Auxiliaries often get the last generation of front-line equipment once it's past its prime. In the few cases they do get new gear cost is always an obstacle to getting the equipment they really need. 

       Like many cultures throughout history the Auxiliaries are seen as an avenue for upward mobility amongst the younger individuals of the outlying regions. A chance to escape the economic doldrums and maybe make something of themselves. So like their parents did before them they've answer the call of recruitment. Their accomplishments may not be appreciated throughout the kingdom by strangers, but in their own communities they are often viewed as minor heroes.
