PIG

I haven't seen this season in seven years since it aired, but I do remember a few details people were talking about on podcasts that you might find interesting. I looked them back up, specifically stuff I heard on the Bald Move podcast: Season 1 Wrench and Numbers Drum Solo is faster. Season 3, it's slowed way down and much more deliberate in pace, possibly because Wrench has lost his partner, Numbers. He's formable alone but was much more dangerous with his partner before Malvo ended it. Bralik: On the last episode about the Moon landing. I don't think the show was putting the Moon landing into question, only pointing out that Varga is a con man that mixes truths and lies. The show opens with how reality can be manipulated by the interpreter and I think I remember Yuri, the Ukrainian guy, talking about Russian Truth. It's only what you want it to be. Varga has no respect for reality. Varga: He might be a one-man operation. It's a bit unclear. You think it's like Kansas City, with this whole Corporate underworld behind him, or it might not. The guy spins lies and he's great at it, so it's hard to say. Varga: The name is a Hungarian surname meaning "shoemaker" or "cobbler". There's some history about the Wandering Jew and how jews were often cobblers finding work. I got nothing lol All I know there are a lot of jewish references in this show and specifically in this season (the Bowling Ally, kind of an in-between dimension in reality in a reference to some sort of jewish purgatory I think). Christianity is already complex but it's nothing compared to the jewish history, so I'm out of my depth. Formal: I personally completely agree with you. Varga seems too careful and dangerous for Nikki to get into that building. The moment the IRS and police got involved, Varga would have already left to worm his way into some other business. It's too much exposure. His character is somewhat inconsistent for the sake of the plot moving forward, sometimes. But, again, this is mostly me thinking. Varga: Played by David Thewlis. No facts here, just mentioning because I think he does the best performance in all three seasons. Creepy, dangerous, and disgusting with that excellent English posh. Anyway, I'm loving watching it again and you guys are always bringing up better things than I never thought back then. You also observe things I've never heard about before from other sources. Looking forward to more!

So glad to see Wrench back and playing a significant role. Never thought I'd see Nikki and Wrench teaming up. Also, glad to see VM's crew finally get a formidable opponent that can really throw down like Wrench lol tired of seeing them bulldoze their way.
