Fun fact about this episode: James Gandolfini (Tony) and Michael Impereoli (Chrissy) got so drunk before filming the scene of them on the cliff, the production crew chained them to a tree. They were scared the two of them were going to fall off.

Oh shit it's the episode where Chrissy invented the new contraction di'den't

chobani .

the last 4 episodes of season 4 about to be so fire!! cant wait!!

Just finished up, great reaction to a top 5 episode for me. What's always been interesting to me is that the creator of the show says that it was intended that Ralph killed P-O-M but Joey Pants, Ralph's actor, says that he acted the scene as if Ralph was innocent and as recently as 2020 has defended Ralph, saying he di'de-- er, did not do it. So Tony can't hotwire a tractor, and Chris couldn't drive. You know who could have done both?? Donut.

Ralphies swan song on the show was awesome. We got to see the asshole upsetting Paulies mom, we got to see the human side with his fear and grief over his son, and we got to see his gangster side when he attacked and insulted Don Tony. He did an amazing job the entire episode. I can't wait for you guys to watch the next one, it's so good.

I also wanted to mention too, the spot where we see Tony get upset and go see Pie-Oh-My after she died, to me that’s a very impactful scene. We know Tony loves animals, a lot. And he really loved Pie as if it was his own pet. Then all of sudden, they dragged her away, almost immediately. Almost being unable to give Tony any closure that he desired. In my opinion, that really affected him.

Joe Pantoliano won a Emmy for his performance as Ralphie. Such a Brilliant performance in this episode and series for him, made you feel the full spectrum of emotions. Next few episodes are going to be lit!

Guy from the 80's

A legend leaves the show. Now all we can do is wait for the shah of Iran.

Chris is Tony's perfect storm right now. Bad enough already that his girlfriend is an FBI informant but now he's the only person who knows about a murder that could jam Tony up — not only with the Feds, but like Christopher said, with his own crew if they start to fear they could be killed like Ralphie for any reason at any time. If it gets out to anyone besides his Sil-Chrissy-Paulie inner circle that this happened, there are going to be major moves against Tony (I mean, just look at Season 3 when Silvio had to tell Tony he was out of line for *punching* Ralph, and that was for killing a pregnant dancer in their own strip club). Now is the time when Tony needs Christopher to be the most on point he's ever been, and he's only going deeper into his addiction.

Something else that I noticed watching y'all was Tony actually stood up for Paulie! He told Chrissy that he was 100% sure that Paulie'd been in AC or wherever all day. Really nice of him considering how convenient it would be, like you said, if he just blamed Paulie. Especially since I'm not sure, but I think that was a complete lie

Consider the parallels between Pie-Oh-My and Tracee. Ralphie says "So what? It was a fucking horse" about Pie-Oh-My. Ralphie repeatedly says "She was a fucking whore" about Tracee. The sound similarities between those words isn't a coincidence. And Sil even referred to Tracee as a "thoroughbred" when she was alive. Tony says as he kills Ralphie, "She was a beautiful, innocent creature. What'd she ever do to you? You killed her. You fucking killed her."

Futures weird. These episodes aren't sluggish at all they are way cooler and realistic now season 1 and 2 sucked compared to these. The show peaks at season 4 and onwards its way more better than those early corny seasons and Tony is way more likeable here. Season 4 is my favorite and as an animal lover and Christian this episode hits hard and I'm glad Tony did that.

Alexander

How is Tony unbearable? He's way cooler and likeable in Season 4.

Alexander

10/10 episode one of the top 5 of the series. Introducing other stuff would ruin it and the flow.

Alexander

It's Clear he did it if you know how to read body language and stuff. He even said they got lucky come on he basically admitted it.

Alexander

I don't like when there is a huge build up. That's cringe and unrealistic I like how it was unpredictable and Tony decided he had to pay him a visit. Not some big cartoon kids Disney movie a huge build up

Christopher Charles

" She was innocent and you killed her". Shit always had me thinking is he mad about the horse, or the stripper that Ralphie killed.

paul carlsen

Ong I was waiting for yall To hear Chrissy say “I dident” shits too funny
