Thanks for the reaction fellas! It has to be interesting watching this, without knowing the history. I'm half-African and deep into the history, so it was a different experience for me. The Nicholas character is fake, but if anything they toned down Idi Amin. There's rumors that this dude was talking to dead bodies of people he killed and they didn't get that far into sheer number of people that were killed; he was a maniac and crazy charismatic, lol. Basically a story about a crazy person through neutral eyes. Forrest Whitaker was amazing, he killed this role. Dude won a Oscar for it and fully deserved it. The way he switched back and forth from a lovable dude to a psychopath was scary as hell. My only problem with this movie is that I HATED the end, lol. Nicholas deserved to die, he was a dumbass. I get it's Kerry Washington's fine ass, but he was really smashing the wife of a brutal dictator, taking meetings as the president, and trying to get people killed. FOH, shoulda been him with his legs in his shoulder holes, lol. I hate that the other doc had to die for him.
