Man this episode gave me goosebumps when I first read/watched it lol. A really important thing to know is that when Eren kissed Historia's hand at the end of Season 3 and saw that memory of Grisha talking to the Royal Family, he also saw his future self motivating Grisha to kill them, and then saw the future memories of everything that's happened so far this season (and beyond). That's the main reason why he changed so much by the last episode of Season 3 and the beginning of Season 4. He's basically known everything that was going to happen this whole time which explains why he's seemed so depressed and empty lol. This plot twist was so fucking crazy I swear lol. The next episode is equally crazy if not even wilder tbh
