I have the feeling that people genuinely don't understand why young Kana said what she said to young Akane. It wasn't about being a dick to Akane at all. The fixed audition wasn't for Kana, or for her talent, it was for ticket sales, it was not about the acting, it was about the name Arima Kana. And Kana knew that, Kana knew her child actor career was at its end. It wasn't anger she was expressing, it was pain.

Can someone explain to this idiot why Akane and Kana are having trouble with their big scene? Did they not have rehearsals where these issues would have been obvious and resolved? ---- Ref actors making mistakes. (assuming you're not talking about clubbing someone with a weapon). Actors make mistakes all the time. They improv their way out of it. ------ One of the scary things about Akane is that her *effective* knowledge of psychology is self-taught! ------ 24:07 "What is this?" Akane and Kana have no "trouble" with their big scene. The scene for the audience is perfect. We just get to see their different approaches to acting and Akane hates how Kana acts now, thou Kana is not acting bad.
