(GTS) Devour Chapter 28: Trembling Space! (Patreon)

The dark void of space trembled, as mighty waves of yellow, black, and crimson cascade outward, flowing miles and miles away. Stars detonated, moons and comets crumbled away, and planets fell from their orbit. All of this caused by the three immense beings that faced each other, glaring with unfriendly eyes as energized lightning bounced off of their bodies.

Crimson: it's been a while sister." (Crossed both of her arms.)

Devourer: (Growls.) "Not long enough."

Crimson: (Shakes her head.) "Tsk, Tsk, Tsk, come on sister, don't tell me that you are still mad about what happened a thousand years ago."

The Devourers eyes becomes bright like two suns that where about to go supernova.

Devourer: Tell me crimson how many world that rightfully belonged to me where waisted away and destroyed without even a chance of consumption . (Turns her gaze quickly towards Darkness.)

Devourer: "And you..." (Points towards Darkness.) "How many worlds have you consumed, how many lives have you destroyed without actually being hungry."

The golden aura surrounding the Devourers body became more thick and flowed like a deep fog all around her body.

Devourer: "So yes my dear sisters, I am still mad."

It was quite as the three goddesses looked at each other, so quite that the sound of burning solar fire from the near bye stars could be heard in the vacuum of space.

The Crimson Devourers mighty chest began to shake up and down as she began to giggle more and more until that small giggling turned into ravenous laughter.

Crimson: "Oh little sister I never knew that you cared for the little microbes so much." (Grabs her stomach as her laughter grew stronger.)

Darkness: (Turns her gaze to the far off distance where a small red ball floated.) “…”

The Darkness Devourers eyes glowed purple as her sense where enhanced and everything seemed to be clear. She saw the tiny red ball up close. She knew that it was a planet, a planet covered in red sand and mountains. Cities created from shiny sturdy glass stood far above the raging sand, and thin like trees with very little fauna in their branches stood all around the cities.

Devourer and Crimson followed their sister gaze and soon all three where staring at the red planet that floated from afar.

Darkness: “How can I ever resist…” (Puts both hands over her bare chest.) “Causing such mayhem to those cute little things? How can I not crush them against my breasts, or maybe in between my legs, or maybe eat them and allow them to become apart of my magnificent body.” (Giggles.) “Honestly those mortal should be honored.”

Devourer: (While grinding her teeth together turns her back away.) “I hate talking with you too. Hurry up and tell me why you both are here.”

Crimson: (Giggles as she feels joy from bringer her younger sister discomfort.) “Ok, ok we’ll tell you.” (Puts her hand on Her younger sisters right shoulder.) “The all mother is awakening.” (Tone becomes serious.)

Devourer: (Quickly turns and faces both of her sister.) “The All Mother?! Are you certain?”

Darkness: “Oh yes, can’t you feel it, The waves of of ancient energy flowing through the cosmos, waves coming from the center of the multiverse itself.”

The Devourer stopped talking and focused. She focused on the universe around her, her consciousness seemed to meld and merge with the cosmos, and soon her perception became multiversal.

Devourer: (Eyes closed.) “I can feel it.”(Opens her eyes.) “She is awakening.”

Crimson: “You should know how important this event is little one. The whole family is going to participate.”

Devourer: (Angrily looks at Crimson.) “You don’t have to tell me that sister. I know this well.”

Crimson: (Holds up her hands in defense.) “Im just making sure you understand. After all you are the youngest.”

Devourer: “A fact that you never let me forget.”

Both goddess once again glared at each other, both seemly ready to strike each other.

Darkness: (Sighs.) “I hope you two aren’t going to bicker like this at the ceremony. You two must show respect, after all this is the woman who gave birth to all of us Devourers after all.

Crimson/Devourer: ““We Won’t!!!”” (Both shout at the same time.)

Devourer: “I thank you for the message sisters, but if that is all than I think that it is best that you both leave.” (Once again turns around, ready to fly off into the void.)

Crimson: “Hold on, Hold on, we’re not done just yet little sister.”

Darkness: “That we aren’t.”

Devourer: (growls with annoyance.) “What do you two want now.”

Crimson: “Well I want to know two things. (Put up two finger.) “The first why have your eating habits changed so much, over the years?”

Devourer: “What do you mean?”

Crimson: “Oh come on sister, did you really think that we wouldn’t notice? (Looks out into the void of space.) “Their are a lot more planets in your territory than their where before.”

The Blond haired Devourer remains quite.

Darkness: “Surely little one, we do not have to remind you our true purpose, why we must consume worlds.”

Devourer: (Shakes her head.) “No you do not.”

Crimson: Huh… Well that good then.” (Put both hands on her hips.) “as long as you understand, then we can get onto my second question.”

Devourer: [“Finally.”] “Which is?”

Crimson: (Smile grows wider.) “What is that language you are speaking, and why is it my little sister that you aren’t speaking in our ancient tongue?”

Devourer: (Shocked realizes that she was still speaking English from the planet earth.) [“Shit.”]
