With so much stuff going on this month, I'm just glad I could finish up the animation. There was a slight hiccup for several days where I could not render some objects into the video. I then realized that I put the object on the wrong layer, which caused it to not get rendered in the first place. And yeah, Kronii's animation is going to get pushed back for several days. Sorry for the inconvenience.

In addition, there is an important announcement about my VN Project, I will discuss the matter in the next section.

Project Synthetic

Before we get into the announcement, there are several progress that we made. To start with, I have been designing most of the menus in the main menu, alongside it's animation.

Character Introduction: Sophia and Ioanne

Sophia and Ioanne are two "mosaics in the same board". I cannot tell it in detail, but both Sophia and Ioanne have been tight with each other. However, their friendship is somehow broken due to mysterious circumstances. It is an option for the player to investigate what happened with these characters, how it happened, and who is the perpetrator that caused it. There are three arcs in the story (I'm going to change the term into "Act" in the future), and both of these characters are planned to be essential characters for the story. 

It takes three acts to understand the past, the present, and the future that awaits these characters, and the player has the option to change their fate based on how they approach their events.

It is still ongoing, but I guess we will start all over again because of the important announcement ahead.

Important Announcement

Due to the introduction of the Unity Runtime Fee for any games published after 2024, the development of The Waning Reign of The Crescent Kingdom is going to be postponed for approximately 6 months. Me and "Alpha" would spend most of our effort porting the entire game from Unity to Unreal Engine. As such, there would be no updates that is going to be given during that time. The easiest thing to port is going to be the User Interface, while the hardest part is going to be the animations. 

The Unity version will serve as a prototype to consolidate the game's design. I will make it available for anyone to download for about a month. The game is still a prototype, meaning there will be no gameplay. Only UI showcases are available at the moment. Do not share it on any forums whatsoever. No. Seriously. They will be disappointed.

So yeah! There will be 2 animations and 1 prototype. I hope you enjoy it!
