Hi guys!

The animation progress for Project 8A is going well despite the hurdles. I already made a briefing before that my PC is often running out of memory when working on this project. So, definitely, the animation will be shorter than others to compensate for it. The expected length is probably the same as Project 5 (Selen Tatsuki) since it is also during the time when I spent most of my time making a uniform framework for future Projects. This week I managed to render around 1 minute of scenes. I think I can push it to 2 minutes by the end of the month.

The theme of the project is primarily focused on POVs. I never had the experience of making a POV animation before. One of the biggest problems is that in some cases the camera angle and the camera Field of View (FOV) need to be tweaked in order to make a really good shot. After spending some time researching, I found out that the average human has a field of view of 17mm. I decided to use it and it looks quite good. There is a reason why many FPS games separate the gun/hand sprites and hide the body model. The primary reason for that is that it requires sacrificing the field of view, which will make the game look extremely narrow. There are also shading/clipping issues where the guns would clip into a wall and ruin the user experience. I always learn something new every day.

The animation will be released on March 28 on Patreon, and March 28-29 on Iwara (depending on server availability). Every Patron will get a shoutout. The observer tier will get a shoutout if space is available, and the other tiers will get a guaranteed shoutout.

In addition, I will release the Remastered Isekai Pikamee model for free on March 28. Every tier, including non Patrons, can actually enjoy the model as this is a gift not only for Pikamee but also for everyone to enjoy.

Besides that, I have another Project that I worked on at the same time. It is a secret project but you can take a peek. The uncensored version will always be on Patreon. While the public version will be available on youtube.

I hope you enjoy this week's progress!
