It's a late reply so i bet people before me have already written it but just to make sure: the company takes care of their Public Relations + Representation (music label stuff, deals with companies etc.) and under the category of Public Representation falls the bit of performance/dance. SKZ already have much on their plate with producing their music, so everything else the company takes responsibility for. Which is the basic thing in K-Pop tbh. Other companies take over MUCH more than that and don't let even the idols decide ANYTHING so what JYP gives them (humanity) is truly progressive in the South Korean industry.

It's definitely their artist freedom they write 100% of they're own music & Chan is a producer on like 98% of their discography, they come up with the album names & concepts, but obviously need approval for everything & will take the company's opinion into consideration. For example God's menu wasn't originally a title track but skz decided to replace the original 1 & would have needed permission which they got, the company & Div1 respects them they hardly have to fight for what they want musically.

Teddy, they couldn't have done a mix with Thunderous because when Kingdom was filming it hadn't come out yet. They would have been spoiling their next comeback. :) And also yes to what others have said about SKZ's creative freedom and influence. JYP himself was nervous about offering them "All In" because he didn't know if they would like or accept the song (and they did definitely make their own modifications to it).

I don’t know if you noticed, but whilst Skz were performing, Wooyoung from Ateez was holding up a sign that said “Seo Changbin is so sexy when he raps” 😭😭😭 he cheers for Changbin during every performance because theyre very good friends!!

Thunderous was from No Easy album which hadn't released until after Kingdom was over. What i love about kingdom besides the legendary performances is the interactions you get with the idols which is rarely seen. I wish some fandom's could get along like this. All these idols deserve everything and more, they work so hard and are so talented. I would love to crown all of these groups as kings. But the world doesn't agree and someone has to win. LOL I am wondering why you are breaking up the videos, is it because of the time factor? I am new to patron and once you do all 10 episodes, it might be hard to locate them. just a random thought. I don't know how to search yet with in the patron system. Thank you for doing this kingdom series. It is once in a life time to see. I think ikon will be doing less as they get older and Bobby has left the group. Also for BtoB you don't hear from them much anymore. I am so glad I got to know all of these wonderful groups idols through this show. I wish MNet would do a season 3.

In terms of the kpop industry, the company takes care of them. In fact, it's already quite rare and peculiar that they allow "idols" to get involved in these kinds of details. But in music, everything depends on 3RACHA, and especially Bang Chan is always in the production of everything.

At 3:33, I think there's something lost in translation. The version of Kingdom I watched translated Changbin as saying, 'When we propose an idea, they (JYP team) provide more ideas to go with that'. Which I understand as SKZ and their team all brainstorm together, not that their team 'takes it over' as it implied in the version you're watching. When it comes down the concept and music, that's all SKZ and 3Racha.
