It was public voting. Anytime it falls to the public to vote, Stay’s will lose sleep to vote. Just like with MAMA, it came down to Army and Stay’s voting every chance they could. Literally the two largest fandom’s voting against each other.

To be honest in this particular show I really disliked the fan voting. I didnt watch it live, I knew about the show months later but the voting frustrated me. This type of show in my opinion should only be done by a professional jury who are experts in vocals, dancing, performance and what not. Sometimes the fan voting can be unfair and since I think people from all over the world could vote some of those groups werent as known as others which for sure influenced the voting.

You’re right. Tbh during the rounds where the fans didn’t get to vote, those were the fairest placements in my opinion. And however much I love Skz, their fanbase is a LOT bigger than most of the other groups competing

So, interestingly enough, after it was over people ran through the math because the full score values were revealed and, if you remove the fan vote from everyone’s scores entirely, SKZ still won. I believe it changed the rankings underneath them a bit but, with or without the fan vote, they still came out on top which I always thought was impressive.

@Lauren SKZ won deservedly. Although I have to say that I wouldnt be able to choose who was better because I liked every performance and everyone brought something unique to the table. Generally though I believe that in such shows the fans shouldnt be able to vote since there are huuuge differences between fandoms. In this case it maybe didnt change much but I guess you understand my point. I wasnt surprised though that SKZ was up there even without fan votes. They had dope stages regardless.
