Final batch of pages!

I edited and inked the Day Two chapter from Letters From Space Camp. You can compare the first draft of the chapter with these finished-ish pages below! Catch up on the previous batches of revised pages: 1-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-18

Ta-Da! The sample chapter is completely inked!

Nowwwwww I'm gunna reshuffle some pages to make the the narrative stronger, tweak some of the toning throughout the chapter, and then I will post the final-final pages all in one post for you guys so you can read it as one long scroll.

Matt may wind up coloring these pages for the pitch I send off to publishers (of course I'll share that here, too).

Man. The end is in sight. I hope I make a good pitch package. I hope a publisher offers me livable money for this book. I hope I make a good book.

Beautiful. Love how you've reworked this and kept it such a simple, clean line. It's expressive and packed with emotion, yet so simple that it lets the reader fill in the details. Love it!

I really like the foreshadowing of showing the garden.

Ahh, thank you for picking up on that! That was my intent with drawing the disheveled garden in the foreground, but as the artist, you never know if your audience will see the intended meaning because all our brains work so differently and we come from completely different contexts. YAY I FEEL SEEN ;)
