Why was this the Patreon? Most the stories we’ve heard before not sure why they had to be flipped? Anyways that last story is very funny to see the diff perspectives based on what you’ve been through. The guy was very transparent about being poly, then about liking the girl more. It’s not like he was keeping her a secret or cheating etc. sounds like he was confused about his sexuality and a young person in general. The fact you’re painting him to be this bad guy is wild. He did everything right each step of the way it just sucks for the other person for sure. Do they deserve to be the top priority? Absolutely, do young people make mistakes and not know what they want? True as well. Sounds like he realized they liked what they had first and this online person was not who they acted to be 🤷‍♀️

I think it's cause they're relating it to their own lives, and as women who have only (I assume) dated straight men, they aren't probably as aware of the complicated dynamics of a non-hetero relationship. Either that, or they weren't thinking of that and, with the topic being about breakups, had a negative mindset going into the story. Even still, I'm curious if you'd view OP's boyfriend positively had they not gotten back together. Just because things turned out great in the end doesn't mean the path to getting here wasn't full of bad choices. Also, no offense to them, but Maya and QT almost always state opinions like they're facts before even finishing a story or looking into it first. Something I've learned to try and not get too annoyed at them for.

Honesty and transparency do not ever make up for power dynamics, take a dude who wants to have children because he has everything to becomè an amazing dad, when he expresses his true wish to fund a family he has to understand women are perpetually pressured to become moms and to sacrifice themselves for their children, this will never be a symetrical issue. We do agree in such situations the dude is not a bad dude, there are difficult situations you are to deal with nonetheless, people get hurt etc.. There is no right way to solve things, life is not a problem, staying together or breaking up is not good or bad, as long as the ride makes people grow and help they stay happy

The renaissance fair furries could be Dungeons and Dragons characters. They do have animal races in DnD (cats, elephants, crows, were-animals etc.) and people love to dress as their characters for Renfaire. But the likelihood is that they in fact were just furries.

Yo I sent in the story and genuinely I have no clue what youre waffling about. My dumb ass forgot to mention we were literally highschool freshmen, we were 14. Most of this story takes place over summer break. The only true power dynamic was if my parents gave me permission to visit his house.
