major patreon payment issues! (Patreon)

you may or may not know, but patreon is currently suffering from a massive bug/glitch/problem where it’s mass-declining payments and even filing fake frauds against your card companies. this is a sitewide issue and isn’t just affecting me, it’s a really big one too (almost half of pledges for this month were declined).

patreon isn’t being very helpful about this issue, simply telling creators to “inform their patrons to retry payment or update card info” instead of attempting to fix this issue that’s entire on them, so unfortunately that’s all i can ask you guys who had your payment declined to do. it’s a really frustrating issue and it’s causing both me and you guys hassle - so hopefully patreon steps up and takes responsibility and in the mean time i’d really appreciate it if you guys who pledged for this month and got declined re-attempted payment! don’t forget to check for any other creators you may be pledged to as well - like i said, this issue is hurting most creators on the site.

i understand that mistakes happen sometimes, bugs occur etc, but lately patreon has been really crappy with things like this. but hey, there’s nothing i can do about it. guess i gotta suck it up and hope it gets resolved.
