By my math, the dragons now stand at 6 on Team Black (Syrax, Vermax, Moondancer, Seasmoke, Vermithor, and Silverwing). Plus Caraxes if he ever gets out of Harrenhaal makes 7. Team Green has 2 (Vhaegar and Dreamfyre) plus possibly Tessarion if Daeron joins the fray, and a pretty injured Sunfyre. Although I'm not sure Helaena is the type to ride her dragon into battle so it's pretty much just Vhaegar at the moment.

So Hugh's mother wasn't a bastard but Princess Saera Targaryen, daughter of the Old King (OGRider of Vermithor), and sister of Baelon & Alyssa (Daemon's parents) Saera was very rebellious and had some sexual scandals which led to her father disowning and exiling her. It was said she became a prostitute in a pleasure house in Lys. So, Hugh basically claimed his grandfather's dragon, which is funny cause IK the old king is rolling in his grave
