Sneak Peek: Dragons! (Patreon)

Hello all!

Posts are coming out pretty quickly these days :P

I have a bunch of content that's ready or nearly ready to go out so Its been a little hard to get out a sneak peek of things without spamming people too much!

However, as we work to start tweaking, revamping and making new tokens KTech spent a few days working on a new basic “template” for the new dragons for the new higher res!

This basic template will of course simply form the backbone of dragons going forwards and we are aiming to put a bunch of custom detail into every dragon-type we do from now on. When I did a basic dragon form before we ended up releasing those as simply recolours for every type. But this time we are going to take each dragon as its own separate monster and make them feel extra special!

In addition to revamping some of the dragons Ive drawn before, you may notice that there are actually 5 different sizes and ages here instead of the typical standard 4 that is normally used for DnD. That's because I also want to think about dragons for the Pathfinder system which has a bunch more sizes and ages for dragons. Also, I think that ancient dragons in DnD and in general should be far larger and more epic!

We are also planning to draw the dragons from the recent Fizban's Treasury of Dragons so keep an eye out for those ;)
