Now that Hard To Look At is complete**, we can return to the serialization of The Truth. Chapter 10 will be posted April 2. New chapters will appear every Tuesday. (New short stories will be in the Saturday slot for now.)

Chapters 10 though 25 are scheduled into July. Not that The Truth ends with chapter 25. That's just how much is "locked" in. I have no idea how long The Truth will last. I may even put it on hiatus again after Chapter 25, as it is also a good stopping point, like Chapter 9 was.

I have five short stories scheduled into May, they are listed in the master story index. After that, the next 6 Ted's Dolls stories (plus one interlude) will be ready to go at that point, carrying the Saturday slot through June 22. I'll post an announcement about Ted's Dolls when it's closer to their release. There are also Caps/Manips scheduled every two weeks on Mondays into September.

Beyond that. No clue. I need to get back to Five Minute Girl at some point. Haven't looked at it in months. I mentioned a story called One Wish a while back. It's gone nowhere in the interim. And it bothers me that I haven't written a Venn story in a while. Tomorrow will see the "conclusion" of the Buying a Gift series, it's told from the original wife's point of view for the first and only time.

** "Now that Hard To Look At is complete". Sigh. I'm going to miss dithering about where that story should go next. Farewell Medusa.

Back to The Truth: if you don't plan to reread the first nine chapters, here's a recap:

When Jon's Uncle Matt died, a magic pen appeared in Jon's pocket. Through experimentation, Jon discovered that anything written by the pen becomes the literal truth. Remembering when the last time he saw his uncle, he imparted to Jon the notion that subtly is best, Jon immediately started gathering a harem of women to have sex with. Sandra was first. Her roommate Debbie wanted to be a mannequin and she spends a lot of time that way. He's got the woman who owns the store where Debbie works on the hook. Who will be next?

Where everyone is at the end of Chapter 9:

  • Jon: In his apartment alone, planning his next move.

  • Sandra: Still recovering from her public walk in hentai clothing, Jon sent her to bed in her apartment alone.

  • Debra: A mannequin in the front window of Beed's Boutique.

  • Dorothy Beed: Desperate to be able to do what Debra is doing.

  • ?????: Utterly unaware of how her life is about to drastically change.

  • ????? & ?????: Utterly unaware how their lives are about to change.

I have been enjoying your long form stories quite a bit, especially the cabin one, but I really enjoy a lot of your one and dones. In them you get to put the meat on the table and not have to worry about leaving enough for the next chapter. I was wondering if you had considered an anthology series? A "Tales from the Magic Shoppe" if you will. Not suggesting a plagarism of spells r us, but something that that allows you a connection to make anything you want and be agile with your stories.

Ted's Dolls was very much an anthology. Other than maybe Emily's stories, you could almost read them separately like an anthology of short stories. This falls apart in the more recent ones. I'll have more about TD's continuing in a month or so when the next few stories come out. At some point I will collect most of this into PDFs and e-books and attempt to sell them on book websites. I want to have a handful of titles ready to go at that point. Ironically, I needed to reread most of Ted's Dolls so I've been assembling the stories into three anthology books that will eventually be called Ted's Dolls Revised Anthology 1, 2, and 3. (And eventually 4. There will definitely be a 4th season.) Thanks for leaving a comment. I appreciate everyone who goes above and beyond to take the time to leave a comment.
