Just a little gif that shows roughly my texturing process. I show it more detailed in another post. To create my textures I use an ambient occlusion map combined with two different cavity maps, like this details pop out and light looks more correct. After I handpaint details to emphasize architectural features. The last step is coloring and creating a dirt layer.
