Myles

The rest of the season is beyond peak.

Love Maki! Hopefully you'll have enough time tomorrow for 18 and 19! Going to be nothing but greatness ahead!

I like JJK girls, they are in opposition or rivalry while struggling with their respective circumstances. Maki's aggressive character and ability is of course attractive, but Mai's circumstances are miserable enough to understand why her behavior is so much sarcastic. Momo sympathizes with Mai and they have a friendship, and Nobara destroys their negative feelings easily😂 And I still can not believe that Mai and AOT Armin are same voice actor,Marina Inoue. Your reaction is always so interesting. PLZ continue enjoying your journey😊

Premare

I really like the way Nobara talks back to Momo about misfortune not being a free pass to do anything. These heavenly pact´s are gonna become really interesting in the future btw :D

The girls are awesome! I have a lot more appreciation for Mai's character. Nobara is ruthless and such a fun character to watch! :D Marine Inoue is fantastic as always, it's still unbelieveable to me as well that it's the same voice. Thanks for watching as always!

Nobara was a freaking boss in this ep, I love her so much more now. I was wondering about those pacts, they seem very interesting to think about.

I think the most important piece of information we can get from episodes 17 and 18 is that even though jujutsu sorcerers are portrayed as "the good guys" in this story, most of them are indeed, as Nanami would say, "shit". We know the school is a disaster, but major clans treating their own children like trash just because they got born with the wrong genitalia or technique is insanity. The blatant discrimination between men and women in the Zenin clan, the immense pressure put on the shoulders of Noritoshi, to a point where he feels like he needs to kill Yuuji not because the rules say so, but because he's scared of disappointing the Kamo members. These clans are not good people. At first Mai seems like she doesn't deserve the same level of sympathy as Maki, but while Maki left that clan and found a better life outside of it, surrounded by friends, Mai got stuck there. The clan leader himself told Maki that he would make her sister suffer if she left. So we can only imagine the psychological and physical torture Mai had to endure from her own family as "revenge" on Maki. Maki was away, the Zenins couldn't hurt her, all they could do was prevent her promotion, so they hurt Mai instead. She had to suffer for both of them. I love the twins, but man, did they get born in the wrong clan. Knowing that Megumi stays away from the Zenins makes me feel better. I awww-ed when you said "that little girl Momo". She's actually the second oldest at this event. Noritoshi is the oldest. (Yes, Todo is younger than them. Crazy.) It's not mentioned in the anime, they skipped this, should've been in episode 8, but Jujutsu High is a four years long high school. In the Exchange Event only second and third years participate, but because the Tokyo third years were suspended, Maki asked the first-years to join and help. Fourth years are not allowed to take part at all.

Thank you so much for the comment as always. What's happening in Zenin clan is beyond messed up, I really want Maki and Mai to come back one day and whoop their asses! I'm glad that Megumi is distancing himself from them. I feel bad for Mai, but to just stay there and be miserable for the rest of your life is not the way to do it imo and Maki decided to fight as she would hate herself if she allowed the disrespect to continue. It's very inspiring to me personally that even tho she can't use cursed energy or even see curses she is taking them head on in close combat unlike her fellow students that have bunch of crazy abilities. I also believe that she's doing this for Mai's sake as well, if she manages to overthrow the clan leader it would lead to so much better future for the whole Zenin clan. It's very unfortunate that Mai had to suffer so much and was forced to become Jujutsu Sorcerer against her will because of their screwed up leader trying to blackmail Maki and make them suffer. I definitely feel bad for making some comments about Mai earlier and you made me realise even more how sad her life was.
