The mabeast we saw in the mansion looks like the same type of mabeast that we saw in Ova 2 when that weird black water which Puck called "the venom of a the black serpent" attacked that mabeast. Next episode is starting with my favorite 5 min. scene, it is just dialogue, nothing to be hyped about but I like one room scenes and the execution is too good, actually there is a little chance that director of the next episode will be in charge of S3, because the series director of S1 and S2 left as main director.

Coming up is one of my favorite scenes in the show. The mabeast in the mansion looks like a "guiltylowe" that Emilia saw in the frozen forest in the OVA That little exchange with Petra talking about the difference between "yes" and "yeah" is in reference to "keigo", which is the polite way to speak Japanese. All of the maids speak in keigo (except Ram to anyone except Roswaal) but it seems Petra wasn't used to speaking that language toward Subaru
