Lets go!! I have been waiting for this for a long time. Don't know if somebody mentioned this but the first 4 episodes are the prologue to the series. As you noticed this is a calmer and deeper show with lots of time skips already so you will meet a lot of characters on the way. So in my opinion it's OK to watch the opening and the ending, I don't think there are any huge spoilers, it's just showing different characters. You picked up many good talking points already and this show will provide a lot of deep thinking moments so I am looking forward to your post reaction comments!

I think you're fine watching the OP and ED, the OP shows upcoming characters but not much about the plot, and the ED is pure visuals.

Im soo happy that this won the poll, ever since the show started airing i wanted you to watch this, its so different yet amazing. Also one of the best anime production wise in the last few years! I hope that you will enjoy it!!
