LGR - BC's Quest For Tires - C64 Game Review

One of the early games from Sierra, one of the early licensed games, and one of the early games for the Commodore 64 in general! Based on Johnny Hart's "B.C." comic strip, it's up to you to save Cute Chick!

Looks like a quaint little game for what it is.

Did he every find the tires?

Haha, Oh BC... I remember seeing that comic strip when I used to actually read comic strips from an actual newspaper ages ago (actually, I don't remember the last time I read a physical newspaper at all...). Strangely enough, the gameplay reminds me of a slowed down Bit Trip Runner 2, which I am trying to complete at the moment. Hope you are having a good time on your vacation! :)

Totally a good effort for the time (and it weirds me to remember Sierra doing C64 stuff). Though, I think the follow-up Grog's Revenge takes the formula and gets to run with it a bit better - probably because they had more room to do so outside of cart space limitations :)

Looks pretty good for 1983 and one guy programmed it! Probably in assembler!

I had no idea the history of these auto-run type games went back so far.
