Im just curious about this, I never though of asking about this angle

you guys know I like polls so sorry for the spam but each polls mostly makes me a little more sane XD

so the question is , when it comes to artists drawing do characters , do you like it because of how the character LOOKS or for how much you know or have a connection with the character

First 2 though second more so. That said people I'm draw to usually only have a sliver of a chance if topping the polls. your style is part of who ever draw.

I chose 1, but in honesty it's for 2 reasons, loving the characters and your character looks and artsyle because it's awesome

Sort of a mix between 1 and 2. I love art of my fav characters (Kurt Wagner, Wally West, etc), and it doesn't exactly hurt when a character is good looking either. That's what determines which characters I request fanart of. But that being said I follow individual artists for their style. Which basically means I don't really know how to vote on this one, lol!

I feel like if I like the character no matter the art I can like it. Like if someone sends you a dick pic. You can be like. Nice penis but who are you. But if your crush sends it your like Oooooooooooooooooooooooh nice cock. Knowing who it is allows me to add my own spin onto the art in things like lore or dialogue.

I..... I actually can't answer this poll. All of those things are important to me. And the ratio.... varies. Sometimes I feel REALLY strongly connected to one character and love them (Link), sometimes a character I know nothing about is just FUCKING GORGEOUS (Snow Villiers). Then there's Aenaluck's Master who is so gorgeously drawn and stunningly detailed and easy on the eyes that I love him and forget to have a boner XD

I like polls, too, Gasai V! So I appreciate that you had one. I voted for # 1 (my strongest choice), but I also agree with # 2 (because I like Link and Gasai, too).
