This is a mod that enables DLSS/FSR2/XeSS in Elden Ring v1.09.

I implemented 5 quality levels, ranging from Ultra Performance to Native.

DLSS Native = DLAA, etc.

ChangeLog

Hotfix1&2

 • Somehow I packed the wrong addon file, fixed.

Build 02

 • Solved flickering grass, image quality is very stable now.
 • HDR compatibility by faking fullscreen.
 • Fixed some quality levels being broken at 4K.
 • Re-introduced Ultra Performance
 • Updated XeSS to v1.1.0

INSTALLATION

 1. Launch the game and set it to use Fullscreen, the game will still be running in borderless mode but the game will think it's in fullscreen.(Pic 1)
 2. Extact everything in this zip to the game's root folder.
 3. Install Anti-Cheat Toggler from https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/90/
 4. Turn off EAC before launching the game.
 5. Turn ON AA, it's needed for me to hook into TAA rendering.(Pic 1)
 6. Turn ON Motion Blur, I'll skip the actual motion blur rendering so no worries if you don't like motion blur, I only need it on for the game to render motion vectors.
 7. Press HOME in the game to open the menu for upscalers.
 8. Then make sure EldenRingUpscalerUIComposite is checked in ReShade (Pic 1).
 9. In the second tab, check the the first two option under generic depth addon (Pic 2).
 10. Press Numpad * to toggle upscaler.
 11. You can change settings in-game, but mip lod bias would require a restart to take effect.

Extra Steps for HDR

 1. Turn ON HDR in the game settings. (Pic 3)
 2. Check Is Using HDR in the upscaler's menu.

Cant get it to boot fullscreen, only windowed/borderless. HDR on or off

love the changes you've made from the notes brother, unfortunately in the same boat as the post above. Fullscreen freezes as before.

Looking forward to trying this when I get home. Crossing my fingers that DLSStweak's custom resolution mod will also work in conjunction with this. Will update here to let you guys know if it is compatible or not.

Hi, i saw your post about Frame Gen on the reshade Discord. Can you upload a alpha if it works? Ive got a 4080 and wanna see how it feels because of the input lag. Or did you mange to get reflex into the game?

PureDark

I only posted it as very early showcase, it's not really done. When it's fully implemented I will put it on patreon.

keep up the good work, i hope we can see more dlss in different games, where the devs are lazy :P

Reflex itself can already be put in any game you can with special K tool.

At first this initial build (post hotfix) gave me issues, such as fullscreen not working and hdr not working. As well as non 16:9 resolutions not working with dlss (the last point I'm not sure if it's been fixed) However the latest hotfix things are both looking and functioning a lot better. There's a few issues that might be inherent to the graphics engine, such as distant enemies looking ultra low resolution. However the grass itself no longer looks ultra low resolution. So you solved that. Although it does wash together a bit too much as the negative side to the better stability. The non dlaa/dlss version has very distinct detail. While I love what dlss/dlaa adds to image stability, I feel the anti alaising the developers used added a form of strong sharpening which actually complemented the detail of the assets in the game. Dlss creates a far more stable image, but the detail feels softer and it washes out some of the animations in the enviroment. Adding a sharpening pass on top of dlss/dlaa seems extremely costly fps wise. I might try adding a sharpening shader via reshade since you're using that framework. HDR does work in fullscreen now (thank god) however enabling it via the external config just resulted in that yellow washed out look. I had to manually enable it via the ingame menu option for it. So remaining issues - Softer/less detail in some animations at a distance (such as the sway of some objects seeming more static) Distant enemies looking pixelated like they are ultra low res Ui softness Fine detail seems to wash together in exchange for dlss far superior image stabiltiy. And here's some positives: I love what the image stability does to the visuals. They feel more refined. I love that the raytracing feels more grounded due to this image stabiltiy I love how distant grass no longer shimmers like it does in the vanilla game. I'm loving the ultra quality setting as well, it's a great middleground between dlaa and dlss quality. Performance savings with raytracing are large.

Thanks <3 by the way, it seems that with the new update the game is more fluid, i'm pretty sure with your mod i can play at 4k with max settings and 60fsp with my 3080 :D

Dude, the game crashes on start up when I try to use this. Please help this is the whole reason I subbed to your patreon.
