As promised last week, here is an upgraded version of last week's Jessie birth animation, now with two additional birth endings! One of these endings can only be found via the random button, so make sure to keep trying until you get it! Even I had to keep trying my luck so I could record that third secret ending for the video XD

The multiple / random birth endings was pretty fun to make. In the future, I might do a month where I add a different birth option to the same character throughout the month, with patrons voting on what option is added the following week. Could be a fun thing to do IMO!

Anyway, I'm getting back to working on Is This Yours? Patreon Deluxe. TTFN!

Got the third random one!. Loved what meowth had to say after. Potential pokemon unbirth hehe? ;)

Eh .... can't seem to get past the stage with the "up-down" icon .... not really looking forward to having to watch a vid just to progress, TBH. Also, just clicking around everywhere doesn't progress the scene, either. Stuck trying to birth the pokemon.

OK, I finally figured it out. The "slow blink" nature of the up-down icon REALLY threw me off as to just what the heck I was supposed to do. Finally figured out that I needed to hold down the mouse button, moving it up and down, and just ignore the fact that the icon is blinking. Kinda counter-intuitive.

You're right, it's not exactly clear what exactly needs to be done. In the future, I'll add a little text to the first screen where the arrows appear, and also add an animation to those arrows so that when you click on the arrows, it acknowledges that you've clicked on it. My bad!

It's all good! It's feedback like this that lets you know what works (or more often what doesn't work as well as you intended) so you can improve! My only suggestion to that 'rubbing' bit is to keep the up-down arrow visible. Making it blink threw me off, especially with how slow the 'on-off' cycle was. Contrast this with the 'click' section, which has a constant mouse with a blinking 'left click' animation, which immediately tells the player what to do. So, making the 'Rubbing arrows' constantly visible, with an alternate look for when you're actively holding down the mouse (say a color change?) would be quite effective, alongside the little bubble saying "Hold the button and RUB THAT BELLEH!"

Oh absolutely, I'm very thankful for feedback like this. Even if it was phrased like "You idiot! What kind of mechanics are these?!" , it would still be gratefully received XD What you've suggested is perfect, and I'm annoyed I didn't implement something like this when I made it (past me is an idiot). Implementing this would be very easy, too, so you're not asking for something radical at all. I'll definitely make future interactive arrow elements like this more clear, so when you click on them, you know you've done it right. If I have time, I'll edit this animation and see how the changes improve the clicking experience. Thanks for the feedback! Never feel shy in letting me know if I've missed the mark. :D

To be fair, I think this is the first time in all of your interactives that I've actually gotten stuck on something, so Kudos!
