So many iconic moments in this one, and that's not even counting all the 'HOLY SHITS' we've yelled listening to her sing XD

When I first heard bae's only wanna give it to you, I immediately searched for the original because I really like the jazzt feel of the song. I was shocked to hear it was sooo hiphop? Totally different from what I expected. Bae's interpretation of it was just amazing! And that duet??? Helloo?? Total masterpiece!!

It showcases each member's personality very well. Haewon shows her wit when answering in both English and Spanish, making it such an enjoyable panel. Lily, with her deep, introspective worldview, expresses her thoughts on music and the craft as a music lover and artist, which is so endearing and insightful. Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin also have their own moments to highlight their personalities! The interview is unique in the sense that the girls get the chance to demonstrate how professional they are, showcasing the artistic direction they are heading towards. Their pride and commitment to their craft, and most importantly, their appreciation for the fanbase, shine through. Plus, there are some "pitch-perfect" moments in there too. I think this is a fun way to get more familiar with the members!

Bae has a very jazz-centric approach to vocalization for me. Her phrasing seems to emphasize syncopation and she almost uses swing rhythm to swivel from her consonants to her vowels. Give her all the blue notes. She also has a slightly huskier tone to her chest but it doesn't get so airy that she loses her projection. Her head voice is the complete opposite and is very light, similar to a soubrette in opera (they are known for a very angelic tone but often sing very sly and expressive characters). Her musicality is next level for me, and she really plays with the expression of the notes to build very fun phrasing. Her pronunciation also really leans in to clipping or drawing out words to build emotional impact.

Wow! Very insightful analysis. For me, her falsetto is incredibly addictive, I get chills every time I hear it. It's so airy yet not breathy, as if it's on the verge of breaking, but she always manages to pull it back. It's something that only Bae can pull off and it's so uniquely hers!
