Zeke doesn’t have the founding titan that’s why he’s not controlled by the vow renouncing war

when i originally read this in the manga, the part where eren gets his head blown off, was the last page of an issue. luckily we didnt get the same cliff hanger

Every founding titan holder who has used the power goes to the paths realm and orders the founder Ymir, which was not known by Eren or Zeke which is why they both assumed that since Eren held the founding titan, he would be able to use the power. Zeke saying he arrived without being bound by the first king is because he did not have the founding titan in him, so he had no access to the memories that bounded previous founding titan holders. Basically him and Eren touching made a loophole for Zeke to be able to contact the founder Ymir without actually owning the founding titan, thus not being bound by the will of the first king. Hope this clears things up! Love the reactions!!

When Zeke caught Erens head and you saw all these images flashing that was basically Zeke seeing Erens memories. Im sorry if you already figured it out but you seemed a bit confused by it so I felt like I had to mention it.

There were a lot of cliffhangers in the manga that got me crazy! I started acting like a maniac during the last 20-30 chapters 😭

@Carlie & Angie The reason why Zeke was unaffected by the Kings Peace Vow Ideals that went on for 100 years , is bcuz unlike all the other Kings within the Walls . Tho he is Royal blood he does not directly possess the Founding Titan . Eren does , hence he arrived to the coordinate without even being tainted in the first place

33:34 It wasn't a massive rifle that was just there. Colt had it on him the whole time. In the previous episode Gabi asked Colt what it was and Colt replied "an anti-titan rifle" In short, Gabi took the rifle from Colt's corpse knowing that Eren would try to reach zeke. Gabi is pretty slick and strong-willed (just like Eren) it goes to show that she's really a warrior taking advantage of the moments Reiner and Eren were fighting

I love the title of this episode. There’s actually 3 sets of two brothers when you include the scene with the memory that opens up to porco. Galliard and his bro that died for Reiner, colt and falco, and then of course eren and zeke
