We're about halfway through season 1 of Attack on Titan and we're loving every bit of it! WITHOUT SPOILERS tell us which was your favourite season!

I love all of them, but season 2 was a rollercoaster

Season 4 from start to finish is the greatest season of television. Although season 3s second half might be the best of attack on titan as a half season. Season 2 is also incredible. Season 1 is good but it takes a while to give you the base understanding of things you need to know, while the remaining seasons continue to push it further beyond anything you could ever imagine. Judging by your reactions already so far I know you’ll love the later seasons

Oh definitely for me season 1 on a rewatch is where I tend to skip some episodes but once I get into season 2 that’s where it starts getting incredible for me

For me season 4 and the second half of season 3 are probably some of the best television I've watched. Season 3 is where all your questions get answered in a satisfying way and season 4 is builds off that. I can't wait for you guys to catch up!

It's so hard to pick because the anime overall is just so well done! Without spoiling, I chose S4 because of how different the anime becomes at that point. The entire anime is just such a thought provoking experience.

Season 1 holds a very special place in my heart. Season 3 was my favorite until season 4 came out and now that has taken its place though there are several episodes in season 3 that are hands down some of my favorite out of any show I’ve seen. Also the OVA episodes are really amazing and I would definitely recommend watching those after season 3. Particularly No regrets and lost girls OVAs.

Does ‘OVA’ refer to an episode thats adapted differently to the manga or something? Sorry, we’re a bit unfamiliar with anime terminology!

They are basically anime episodes written by the author and are usually very important, but aren’t directly required for the main plot, some are very very popular though, maybe someone can provide an order of when to watch each one :) , OVA = original video animation I believe. Some were not part of the manga, some are. Trust me though it’s not required but almost every reactor I know watched them since they’re of the same quality or sometimes higher than normal episodes (which are already nuts)

Totally agree, they are not required to enjoy the series they just provide more context for some of the characters and the quality is amazing for the two I mentioned and would say they are on par with some of the best episodes of the show. The recommended order for the main OVA episodes that are After season 1: 1. Watch OVA 1 (Isle’s notebook) 2. Watch OVA 4 + 5 (No regrets pt 1 and 2) After season 2 1. Watch OVA 6 +7 (lost girls pt 1 and 2) After season 3 1. Watch OVA 8 (lost girls lost in the cruel world) Note: OVA 2 and 3 can be considered just filler episodes. They are still very good and are totally fun stories worth the watch but you can watch those any time after season 2 in any order. Just fun little side stories with some of your favorite characters.

Every season is great….. BUT season 3 and 4 are some of greatest pieces of entertainment I’ve ever witnessed haha. I’m actually kinda jealous you guys get to experience it for the first time. Cant wait to continue the journey with everyone you guys and everyone here🤟
