AHHH the build up for what's to come is real, I love the way Shinwoo is handling the situation with Taekyung and Daon. The text message thing really surprised me lol, Taekyung's phone not working is something I must have missed unless it hasn't really been explained? idk

Really enjoying this show, it's so sweet and simple but also complex and shedding a light on bigger issues. Very relatable characters for anyone to connect with I think, we all struggle with expressing ourselves honestly in some shape or form I feel like. Excited for next week when I get to finish it!

Remember that Taekyung's phone was broken when he got into the fight with Shinwoo's middle school haters. So this whole time he hasn't been getting Shinwoo's messages, just like he didn't get the group posts. I feel like we're seeing three people with different personalities dealing with things happening in different ways. Shinwoo has the benefit of history in this situation, but it's new for Daon, and it's simply the less impactful part of the scenario for Taekyung. Taekyung was never seeing things like gay/straight, he was always seeing "I like this person" because his experience hasn't been tainted like Shinwoo's was before and Daon's is now. I do feel bad for Daon, simply because it's a stressful situation for him and he's got parents who aren't going to understand and only care if it makes them look bad. For him to live his authentic life is a challenge, and I'm glad he's doing it, even if it's on his own time, you know? Anyway!! Just a funny thing of note is that all the actors here are currently 26 (Namgoong) and 29 (Shinwoo), though the show was shot 2 years ago. It's unironic to me that the actor playing their advisor is actually only 3 years older than the actor playing Shinwoo. Aging well ftw. Also, it must have been challenging for the actor playing Taekyung to suck that much as singing, seeing as he had been scouted on the street by SM in high school. Heh. One more weekend of these! Can't wait to see how you feel after it ends.
