I couldn't be happier with this album, although I wish Zhang Hao's song would be at least one minute longer. The songs fit them as a group really well in my opinion and it reflects the meaning of both their youth and their start as a group!

I'm so excited to listen to this album over and over, it will be my summer anthem for sure! I'm so happy their debut is finally here ✨

back to zerobase is really giving me that Owl City synthy ascending feeling that I adore! Agree so much that it's perfection!! Yessss New Kidz is really gooood! She is giving so hard And I is so soft and I love her, ur face appreciating the vocals was so real 💙 Our Season makes me wanna go on a trip with my friends! Taerae and Ricky really slay in this. Johan I literally started crying the first time I heard Back to ZEROBASE. I think it’s because of how much we’ve seen them grow through Boy’s Planet. I also checked out a lot of their pre-Boy’s Planet stuff and Gunwook in particular made me sob. Like you don’t understand, he was literally so close to making it in his last survival show. The scene of him at age 16 sobbing and hugging his friends who won during the Wild Idol finale is imprinted in my head. That boy lived on an island for months and constantly did physical challenges - from carrying logs in the river while it was raining, to dancing with weights strapped on his wrists, to running miles and miles and lifting heavy rocks and living in makeshift tents - just for a chance to possibly debut and at the end he didn’t. There were contestants that didn’t respect him on that show as well, and disrespected him when he was appointed leader of one of the groups and main rapper of the whole show. He was sexualized often on Wild Idol (from doing a Men’s Health photoshoot shirtless (keep in mind he was Yujin’s age and the youngest on the show) to constantly getting complimented he looked erotic from idol mentors and told he was sexy). Gunwook is an amazing kid, and someone I’m so proud of. I love all of them but I have an extra soft spot for Gunwook because so much of his past has been documented and there’s so much footage from Wild Idol showcasing how sweet and warm hearted he is alongside his talents. I really want you to checkout Wild Idol to see what made him be declared the best rapper on the show (don’t worry, the shirtless clip of him is a behind the scenes YouTube video so thankfully it wasn’t broadcasted during the program and you won’t see it if you watch the actual episodes). Or at least checkout his performance clips (I can link it if you’d like). We didn’t get much of main rapper Gunwook for this album but he’s so insanely good, like mentors told him he could be an actual Korean hip hop rapper, not just an idol rapper. That’s all ❤️

I’m so late because I’ve been so busy and slowly catching up with your reactions but I’m here to say that back to zerobase HAS NO RIGHT TO BE AS BEAUTIFUL AS IT IS LIKE WTF THE ALBUM JUST STARTS AND IM ATTACKED WHILE ALSO ASCENDING???
