Just a bunch of suggestions for western movies: PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT the iconic 1994 LGBT comedy with Hugo Weaving and Guy Pearce THE GIRL NEXT DOOR the 2004 teen comedy (not the 2007 drama) with Emile Hirsch, Timothy Olyphant, and Paul Dano is one of his early roles. It's really a hilarious movie with a great cast and soundtrack. FANTAGHIRO (1991, the first movie in the series, it's in 2 parts) an Italian fantasy classic that had major success in Europe and even elsewhere. THE GREAT DICTATOR Chaplin's classic. All time banger!! NIGHT OF THE HUNTER the 1955 classic thriller with Robert Mitchum. It's actually based on a real story. LES DIABOLIQUES 1954 French classic thriller, US title "Diabolique", based on a French book that Hitchcock wanted to adapt but a French filmmaker bought the rights first. Holds up very well to this day. MOMMY the acclaimed 2014 Canadian drama (the language is Quebec French so you'll need subs). It received many prizes in festivals. The writer/director was only 25. THE BOY IN THE STRIPED PYJAMAS the WW2 drama. With Vera Farmiga, David Thewlis and the kid from Sex Education. Very hard hitting stuff. SOME LIKE IT HOT the classic comedy with Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon and Marilyn Monroe. THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY the classic spaghetti western THE GOOD THE BAD THE WEIRD the super fun Korean lose remake. LES VISITEURS the iconic 1993 French comedy. There's an American remake with Christina Applegate but they went for some sort of family comedy... the French version however is truly hilarious. I don't know if the subs would be good though, it's possible to translate the slang based humour but only with careful translation 🤔 PAN'S LABYRINTH war drama/fantasy gothic movie by Guillermo Dem Toro (Spanish speaking) WALK THE LINE the Johnny Cash biopic with Joaquin Phoenix BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM british comedy by Gurinder Chadha That's it for now 😄

Fun fact: The first Mission Impossible is a sequel to the original Mission Impossible TV Series that lasted from 1966-1973, and the film’s main villain, Jim Phelps, was the main hero in that series. Brilliant move to make the main character from the original series the villain. Hard core fans of the original TV Series at the time would not see that twist coming.
