We did it.

Last year I announced that I would publish a new Sub Brief lecture on YouTube if we went over 2000 Patreon members.  We crossed that mark this month. Below is a poll of the 10 most recent Sub Briefs; vote for your favorite(s).

The winning lecture will be posted on YouTube in February (mid-month).  You can vote for more than one.

The Australian one definitely should be made public, as it's the most significant one for the general public. I am guessing most Australians don't even know how much their country got f'd over by the deal they took.

RAN sub trainee can't wait till we get the attack class and put it through it's paces

Agreed. That deal basically gave too much power over to the builder/contract winner.

It will also garner the most views since it is the most relevant to the general public, not only the Australian public. It is emblematic of the Military Industrial Complex. It is also the one of the best lectures Aaron has given.

Oberon, obviously! Two for the price of one! :P

Australia's Future 'Attack' Submarine Program Is a must see for the Australian Public at the moment, and your explanation of the issues are fantastic. Great work Aaron

I know I hit the right note with the Attack class brief when I was accused of promoting a conspiracy. I told them it was teamwork and I have the rosters.

It's also impressive to see, how the words conspiracy and conspiracy theory was made disreputable during the early Cold War. Because conspiracies are a very real thing, though most of them "only" lead to corruption. If I am having an important meeting with a customer to talk about further actions or plans it technically is also a conspiracy.

Australia’s sub procurement has so much back and forth, head, butt and nose picking and scratching, to make anyone nauseous! I am surprised there are any bidders left on this shitty, penny pinching procurement scheme.
