Update 10.8.6 New AI Mode, New Derby Fun Map, and Fixes for BeamNG v.27 (Patreon)

Patch 10.8.6 released

1) Fixes an issue with the Derby Map having dirt texture changes.

2) Removed some RDP files that are causing missing parts.

This update has a much-needed update to the AI aggression that I hope you will enjoy. It also includes a new map with a football field and stadium and has fixes for the current BeamNG 0.27 update. Happy New Year thanks for your support!

Update 10.8.5 Info

1) Added a new Derby Mode called Survival Mode.  This makes the AI target only the player.  See how long you can make it!

2) JBL - Added a new derby map called Derby Fun 3.   This is a Football Stadium with two arenas and one racing track.  Check out the screenshots!

3) Added Roofsigns and breakable sticks for Real Derby Project (RDP), Mini Mania, and Beam Derby Truck Series (BDTS).

4) Made changes to the Derby AI file to make them more aggressive. (They were trying to avoid walls too much)

5) Fixed pausing the scenario when swapping vehicles that were causing the scenario to restart.  

6) Fixed racing ai by updating the "gdai" file.  

7) Replaced the hatch files with covet and created new covet vehicle configs.

8) Fixed spawn code that was not removing parts correctly.

9) Selecting the vehicle model type for the player will sync the opponents model type selection.

How to install the current update

BeamNG.drive is required to play this mod.

1) Download the file attached to this post and then run the installer.

2) Choose Allow or Keep for any popup messages for windows defender or your virus scanner.

3) Click Install and agree to the license

4) The installer will download the required files

5) Once the install has finished startup BeamNG

6) Start BeamNG.drive

7) In Scenarios or Freeroam find The FairGrounds Mod

The Direct Download Link needs to be installed in your BeamNG.drive mods folder.  You will need to manually delete any "green_derby.zip" or "demo_green_derby.zip" files in the mods and repo folder

Troubleshooting

1) When starting the scenario you only get screen showing the black background with press ecs to load the menu.

a) Check for old "green_derby.zip" or "demo_green_derby.zip" files in your mods folder and delete them.  Also make sure you don't have "green_derby_1.zip" or other copies of the files in the mods or repo folder.

b) Clear cache

c) Deactivate all other mods in the menu.

2) AI is not moving

This can caused by a conflicting mod.  Deactivate all mods and try again.  Check the logs by press ~ or check the BeamNG.log files.
