Revisiting and Revising the Band (Patreon)

The band (Mozzie, Sy, Ben, and J.J.) already had animation designs from the pilot, which you can see at the top here, but they were pretty far in the background in that context.
We have a couple of things in the pipeline that feature them much more prominently, so we decided to do some sprucing up. That meant trying to pour some more character into their appearances and trying to differentiate their shapes so they look much more immediately distinct from each other.....and also settling on that asymmetrical eye spot of J.J.'s that we kept waffling on.

These are some exploratory sketches we asked Keith Daily and Kasettetape to do to try to find some of the angles and shapes to push. The bottom are my "final" drawings, but they'll be off to get their new, more in-depth character sheets next.
