I hope you put tower of god on the poll if you haven’t watched it yet when you catch up to danmachi! Also enjoy the show it’s one of my favourites

The show takes from lots of mythology. Ganesha is an Indian god and takemikazuchi is a Japanese god.

You should focus more on who is doing the talking. Loki literally was talking at Freya, which is why she says "you sex-obsessed goddess", because that's Freya in a nutshell. She's the Norse Goddess of Beauty, Love, War, Fertility, Sex, Gold and Seiðr (a type of magic practiced by Norse. Basically it's used by telling and shaping the future, at its core). This is also canonical, as there's even a real excerpt from the mythological texts of Loki roasting Freya (basically the OG rapping, in a sense) about how she's slept w/ basically every god ever. Also, it makes somewhat reasonable sense for Loki to be a female, as Shapeshifting in general is a common basic-level ability of all deities in both Greek and Norse mythologies, and probably a bunch of others. Hell, Loki is the MOTHER of Sleipnir (Odin's horse), because Loki gave birth to Sleipnir while shapeshifted into a mare, as a gambit to sabotage a Giant's side in a competition, by "seducing" the stallion that was the steed used for the race thingie. I'm not sure if Loki is the father or mother of Fenrir, tho.

Loki is mother to Sleipnir, yes. As well as father of Jourmangundr(not sure spelling), Fenrir, Hel, and two other non monster boys. Of those two boys the other gods turned one into a normal wolf who then killed the other brother. The then dead son’s intestines are what’s used to bind Loki when the gods in prisoned him. A direct punishment for him insulting the gods during his flyte (OG battle rap; as you said).
