I tried this mod, but when I start the game I get this error message: "Unable to save current preset. Make sure you have write permissions to C:\Program Files\EA Games\Dead Space 2\Now\Dead Space II Redux D.E 5.0.ini." Also does this mod has the same issues with some CPUs or is it already fixed? With just the game without any modifications the game crashed after start, I've got this fixed using this: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Other-Dead-Space-Games/Dead-Space-2-will-crash-on-launch-with-more-than-10-processors/m-p/8020925#M15671

try moving the game files to another drive & try again........& that cpu issue is only happening on intel as per research....on intel that has more than 10 cores

i think it happens only on intel cpus with more than 10 cores, amd cpu hasn't this problem on dead space 2, try limiting the cores to 6 cores on msconfig while playing the game & see if that fixes
