its 2023! time for a year of awesomeness!!!! (Patreon)

HELLO EVERYONE! HAPPY NEW YEAR! :D I hope you all had an awesome new year! Today I wanted to let you guys know about my plans for this year as well as some small changes :D

Starting off, last year was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!! Seriously if you had told me at the beginning of the year what insanity I would be making at the end! I would have thought you were nuts hahaha but I did! AND IT'S ALL THANKS TO YOU GUYS :D seriously you guys are amazing! :D

To the future!!!

With last year finishing the way it did, this year is gonna be even more awesome! But first the bad stuff:

The community voted models!  At the end of last year, the community-voted models reached a whole new level! they are now so complex and so extreme that completing them within 4 weeks is just not possible sadly :( So some future community-voted models will need some extra time especially when electronics are involved, looking at how the Spartan Laser and Plasma Rifle went, projects of that level will take around 6 to 8 weeks to complete.

I'm really really sorry about that guys, I really pushed to get the plasma rifle finished within 4 weeks, but even with pushing my self to the limit, the models just need that extra time :(

Onto the good stuff:

This year's main major project is the Mjolnir armour! This is a project I have been working on for a few months now but has fallen to the side when a project needs all my time :D (Looking at you Plasma Rifle :D) This year the Mjolnir armour will be a much higher priority :D

Next is videos!!! I'm dying to start videos of the models and I have been slowly gathering all the equipment needed to get some awesome footage for the vids :D As for what the videos are going to be?
I haven't 100% sorted out what the vids are going to be yet, but the rough idea is they are going to be build vids showing assembling and painting the models!!! These videos are gonna be awesome for showing bits and pieces of assembly that are hard to represent in the instructions, as well as the painting!!!! oooo the painting!!! It's gonna be so cool to paint some models! ITS GONNA BE EPIC!!

There are a few other reasons for the vids, but the main one is extra stuff for you guys. So even if the model is not a model you want to build yourself, you still get a vid of the build!!! :D

Onto the weird stuff!!!

This month is gonna be a bit different to my normal schedule, there won't be a community voted-on project this month :( sadly I need that time to focus on setting up and learning everything needed for the vids as well as tackling a massive list of background stuff that I have been needing to do for a bit :D

Oh and even though there won't be a big model this month I will still have a bunch of speed projects for you guys :D

As well as a fun project! A super compact enclosure for my printers!!! This project is a big one and is a must for my health! Lately I have found the fumes from the printers have been making me feel a bit lethargic so I'm gonna build an enclosure with an extractor for the printers :D ill have a post on this project with more detail in the next week or so :D
