HELLO EVERONE!!! today I have for you something special!! THE D5 SIDEWINDER from cyberpunk 2077!!! oh boy does this model have a story! I actually started this model last month as a random project, and it ended up being one of the trickest models to finish the basic modelling on thanks to the absolutely awesome geometry in this model :D (seriously I learned so much from this model) once the basic modelling was done, I started looking into the mechanisms of this model and made a discovery that blew my mind!!!!

THIS MODEL HAS 2 SLIDERS ON IT!!! OH and 1 OF THEM moves in the opposite direction!!!! yeah! absolutely nuts! and I knew I had to add this feature to the model!! little did I know that this would become the most time consuming, complex and difficult model I have ever designed!! not to mention the most extreme! honestly, I'm gonna have to figure out new ways of designing the mechanisms as the models are now at the limits of what 3d printing can do :D

BUT IT WORKS!! wooohooooooo and not only that the trigger moves the sliders!!

to the features!!!!

moving trigger!
moving sliders!
mag locking switch!
mag release!
movable iron sights, with magnets to hold them in place!

this model is extreme! and was a tun of fun to make, but did obliterate my schedule a bit, and that means the UNSC Savannah has been delayed a bit. sorry about that guys :( but with this model done I can finally put all my effort into the savanna!!

I just wanted to say thank you to you guys, without your support, there is no way I could build such extreme models!!! thank you :D

oh and I'm not done just yet! I still have 2 more models for you guys coming up, until then.

you can find the model here!

Happy printing :D

3mf is an up and coming file format for printing that people claim to be better. Most slicers should accept it just fine
