FE Lore: Right of Mentorship (Patreon)

A somewhat minor incident at Black-Lily accord that resulted in One Hailey Agulair and one Elissa Cowen coming to blows. After hearing that Hailey had assigned herself as Ayame's personal caretaker the usually agreeable Elissa immediately challenged Hailey for that position to which Hailey accepted even though she did not have to.

The challenge would take place at the recreation arena where Hailey's fellow physical training team would cheer her on while Camilla watched over Elissa's performance silently.

The fight was seen as a forgone conclusion by the higher-ups given their knowledge of Elissa's parentage they expected her to be the victor even if restrained herself like she tended to do. The fight did not go that way at all with Hailey handling everything Elissa threw at her fairly well. It eventually became clear that despite Elissa's physical superiority and talent that Hailey was just the better of the two with her winning by TKO.

Elissa would appear rather upset at her loss with Camilla also being quite disappointed in her Protégé. Elissa would also not explain why she challenged Hailey for the latter position even though she was already assigned as Christie's personal caretaker.

Hailey didn't seem to care much about the whole thing and managed to stay on good terms with Elissa although she doesn't receive the same feelings from Camilla. Hailey's performance also got her noticed by the executive staff and they offered her a chance to try out for a much higher position. She would accept but would be beaten out rather badly by another person.
