More of Gianscoglio Lapanza (Patreon)

During the creation process of the last episode of my webcomic "The Author", I had to introduce a new fictional (and fake) character into the story. I decided for Gianscoglio Lapanza, a character inspired by the Italian typical white, old, married, homophobic, conservator and right-oriented man from the middle-class. In the webcomic I showed up just one episode of the "fake" new comic, but I created many more strips than I showed, just using the same two drawings and the same sequence, and changing the subject. I'm sorry it's just in Italian, but you can imagine this little angry guy saying the usual things about vaccines, fascism and gays, and then ending his life dying from all these argumentations.

Durante il processo di creazione dell'ultimo episodio di The Author ho dovuto introdurre un nuovo personaggio fittizio (di un fumetto fittizio) e ho deciso di creare Gianscoglio Lapanza. È un personaggio ispirato al classico italiano maschio bianco invecchiato male, sposato, conservatore, destraiolo e omofobico. Siamo circondati, che ve ne rendiate conto o meno. Nel fumetto ho inserito un solo "episodio" di Gianscoglio, ma in realtà ne ho creati molti altri, semplicemente ripetendo la struttura e la sequenza di disegni, e cambiando argomento. Sono abbastanza sicuro che Fosca abbia premiato l'autore per ognuno di questi.
