Yea she didn't really adopt him making them brothers its more her being his guardian. Which is why he doesn't call her mom because she's not and isn't trying to be it. She's more of his aunt, hopefully they explain it more in the following episodes.

Haebom feels like he's a burden to them almost. Because like someone said he wasn't adopted, he just lives in their house and he feels like he owes them for that. This is the reason Taesung's mom asked him to look out for Haebom, because he doesn't tell her anything. So even though Haebom knows they're bullying him, he doesn't want to make Taesung or his mom worry. Really excited for this one, it's following the webtoon almost exactly so far. I'm sure you'll love it!
